Employsure Seminar

Chamber Member Employsure is holding a free seminar that David Waters is inviting Chamber Members and others to attend on the morning of 28 February at The Quest in Midland.

I’ve attended one of Employsure’s seminars before, thanks to David’s kind invitation, and can attest that they are valuable and information-packed for small to medium-sized business owners and organisations.

February Business Fair

It was a very pleasant surprise for us to be able to partner as the local host for the Federal Small Business Fair in Perth North on February 6, organised in conjunction with Christian Porter and his staff, Senator Michaelia Cash and her office and the Department of Small and Family Businesses.

That has frequently left the stronger players in the market.

Government Community Cabinet Breakfast

On Monday 19 November many Members of our Chamber and a few invitees from neighbouring organisations had the pleasure of sharing breakfast with the Western Australian State Government in its roving ‘Community Cabinet’ form. This invitation-only event, unlike other Community Cabinets, allowed us to mingle freely for the vast majority of the time with the Premier and Ministers of our State Cabinet in order to get to know them, raise concerns and have our say on critical issues that our Members wanted to raise either regarding their business or community needs.
