This event is shaping up to be a tremendous opportunity for exhibitors, businesses and consumers. We are arranging special exhibitors from a number of government services to provide information and advice and have a growing slate of businesses and organisations displaying to make this a fantastic event for all of Perth Metro North (and you all in the Metro South are also welcome) and surrounds.

How Does An Expo Benefit You?

Business Expos provide you as business owners/managers and not-for-profit organisations a prime position to promote yourself to other businesses and consumers, allowing prospects and potential connections the time to talk with you and examine what you have to offer. They continue to run the world over as a prime method of ‘displaying and promoting your wares’, even (or perhaps especially) in this digital age.

In conjunction with an attractive, interactive display and creative thinking, almost any business or organisation can engage others as a vital ingredient in their marketing mix. Capture the attendees’ contact data and you instantly expand the number of interested parties on your mailing list. Provide special and packaged offers and you develop instant buyers or investors. Talk with potential partners and even learn from the friendly competition around.

We have designed the Expo to be a valuable opportunity for both exhibitors and attendees of all persuasions. With Government 2 Business, Business 2 Business and Business 2 Consumer services throughout, VIP guest speakers from all levels of government and special mini-seminars, there will be multiple benefits attracting attendees and adding value to their experience. This means that as an exhibitor you are not just relying on your own brand name and that of the Chamber to draw people in, but have big recognisable names and worthwhile events attracting others.

Register to exhibit at early bird rates now. The event is open to Chamber Members – businesses and not-for-profits – and to non-Members as well.
Display opportunities are not infinite, so it’s first come, first served.

Bullsbrook Business Expo Cancelled

Regretfully, we have cancelled the Bullsbrook Expo due to lack of exhibitor registrations.

Given the large investment of time, resources and energy in setting up, preparing for and participating in the Expo for both the Chamber and those exhibiting, I couldn’t justify running the Expo with the low numbers as I do not believe it would especially benefit anyone. This is an investment that all of the Exhibitors and attendees make and it has to be worth their while.

Employsure Seminar

Chamber Member Employsure is holding a free seminar that David Waters is inviting Chamber Members and others to attend on the morning of 28 February at The Quest in Midland.

I’ve attended one of Employsure’s seminars before, thanks to David’s kind invitation, and can attest that they are valuable and information-packed for small to medium-sized business owners and organisations.

February Business Fair

It was a very pleasant surprise for us to be able to partner as the local host for the Federal Small Business Fair in Perth North on February 6, organised in conjunction with Christian Porter and his staff, Senator Michaelia Cash and her office and the Department of Small and Family Businesses.

We were delighted that both Christian and Senator Cash were able to come and speak at the event and meet with local business owners and Chamber members attending, as well as many visitors to our area. The Vines Resort was a prime location for the event, even though the temperature soared that day.

Government Community Cabinet Breakfast

On Monday 19 November many Members of our Chamber and a few invitees from neighbouring organisations had the pleasure of sharing breakfast with the Western Australian State Government in its roving ‘Community Cabinet’ form. This invitation-only event, unlike other Community Cabinets, allowed us to mingle freely for the vast majority of the time with the Premier and Ministers of our State Cabinet in order to get to know them, raise concerns and have our say on critical issues that our Members wanted to raise either regarding their business or community needs.
