We’re thrilled to pass on the news that Chamber Members Girls Without Limits have received $300,000 in federal grant monies to continue their amazing success.
Federal MP for Pearce and Attorney-General Christian Porter (pictured with some of the ladies from GWL) and his staff were instrumental in assisting Girls Without Limits to secure this grant. Christian and his staff have been fabulous supporters of the Chamber and have continued to work on the behalf of a number of our Members to secure assistance and, where applicable, grants.
The grants will enable Girls Without Limits to continue to provide services to girls in the greater Ellenbrook area – helping them to grow in confidence, esteem and their networks to support them in their maturation and success in school and in life.
Caroline Thompson (pictured far right) is the dynamic founder and chairperson of GWL. For those of you who came to our Brag About Your Business Breakfast in November last year, you heard their Program Coordinator Amy (second from the right) tell some of the amazing and heart-rending stories of how they have helped young girls.
If you wish to support GWL in their mission, you can contact them through their website at
